Continuous carbonization process and device 2
Aug 18,2025

The carbonization and decomposition of this process are all continuous operations. Firstly, industrial grade lithium carbonate is mixed with pure water and return mother liquor in a certain proportion (the mixing ratio can be adjusted according to the impurity content in industrial grade lithium carbonate), and transported to a continuous carbonization tower through a pump. Carbon dioxide gas is introduced into the carbonization tower, and carbonization is carried out at a certain pressure and temperature to obtain a lithium bicarbonate solution. After carbonization, the completed liquid is filtered and precisely filtered by a filter press, and then enters the resin impurity removal system for impurity removal. After impurity removal, the liquid is transported by a pump to the continuous decomposition tower for decomposition. The decomposition tower is heated by an external heat exchanger. The decomposed liquid is then centrifuged for separation. The wet materials separated by centrifugation are dried, screened, iron removed, crushed, and packaged to obtain high-purity lithium carbonate products. Part of the mother liquor is decomposed and returned to the mixing tank for mixing, while the remaining part is collected and treated separately. The carbon dioxide decomposed by the decomposition system enters the carbon dioxide recovery device for recovery, and the recovered carbon dioxide is then returned to the carbonization system for reuse.
