Operating Principle
Technical Characteristics
- High thermal efficiency: Utilizing conductive heating, the heat utilization rate exceeds 90%. For the dual-shaft paddle dryer, the heat transfer coefficient ranges from 120 to 180 W/(m²·K), with thermal efficiency between 80% and 90%.
- Superior self-cleaning capability: The wedge-shaped paddles feature inherent self-cleaning properties. The dispersive force generated by the combined motion of the rotating paddles' inclined surfaces and the particle/powder bed automatically dislodges material adhering to the heated inclined surfaces, ensuring no fouling on the paddle surfaces and sustaining efficient heat transfer.
- Stable operation: The unique compression-expansion agitation effect of the wedge-shaped paddles ensures full contact between material particles and the heat transfer surface. Within the axial zone, minimal gradients in material temperature, moisture content, and mixing uniformity are maintained, guaranteeing process stability.
- Broad applicability: Capable of processing diverse materials in paste, granular, and powder forms, the dryer can perform multiple unit operations including drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, and reaction. It is suitable for applications across industries such as food processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, dyes, and industrial sludge treatment.
